Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly added Villarreal striker Georges Mikautadze to their list of attacking targets as the North London club continues to explore options to strengthen its frontline.

According to Tottenham insider Paul O’Keefe, Mikautadze is among the names attracting interest from Spurs as they assess attacking reinforcements ahead of the new campaign.

The 25-year-old Georgian forward enjoyed an impressive debut season with Villarreal in La Liga. Mikautadze registered 13 goals and six assists in 32 league appearances, giving him 19 goal contributions and highlighting the attacking quality he could potentially bring to the Premier League.

Mikautadze is also a versatile forward, capable of operating as a central striker or from the left side of the attack. Villarreal describe him as a player with strong goalscoring ability, vision, ball control and an ability to create dangerous situations around the opposition box.

His reputation was already established internationally before his move to Spain. During Euro 2024, Mikautadze finished as one of the tournament's joint-top scorers, underlining his ability to deliver on a major stage.

For Tottenham, his combination of finishing, movement and versatility could make him an intriguing option as the club looks to add more firepower.

There is currently no indication of an agreement, but Mikautadze is certainly one to watch as Spurs continue their search for attacking reinforcements.
