Barça Trail Valencia Basket by One at Half-Time

Barcelona fought their way back into contention against Valencia Basket, trailing by just one point at half-time in their Liga Endesa clash at the Palau Blaugrana.

The score stood at 40-39 in Valencia Basket’s favour at the break, leaving Barça with everything to play for in the second half.

After falling behind, Barça responded to close the gap and put themselves within touching distance of their opponents. The narrow scoreline means the game remains finely balanced, with either side capable of taking control after the interval.

Playing in front of their home supporters at the Palau Blaugrana, Barcelona will look to build on their response and turn the momentum in their favour. They need to maintain their intensity and make the most of their opportunities if they are to complete the turnaround.

Valencia Basket, meanwhile, will be determined to protect their slim advantage and prevent the hosts from moving ahead. With only one point separating the teams, every possession could prove important when play resumes.

The match is part of the 2026/27 Liga Endesa season, with both teams looking to strengthen their position early in the campaign.

With the second half still to come, the contest remains wide open. Barça have given themselves a chance with their fightback, but they must now turn that response into a stronger finish against a Valencia side that holds the narrowest of leads.
