João Cancelo Returns to Barcelona in €10m Deal After Hansi Flick Request
João Cancelo is reportedly set to return to Barcelona after Barça agreed a €10 million deal with Al-Hilal, with Hansi Flick pushing for the Portuguese full-back's immediate return.

João Cancelo is reportedly on his way back to Barcelona, with the Catalan giants reaching a total agreement with Al-Hilal for the Portuguese full-back.
The transfer is understood to be worth around €10 million, with Cancelo set to sign a two-year contract at Barça.
The operation accelerated significantly in recent hours after sporting director Deco pushed forward with negotiations following a direct request from head coach Hansi Flick. The German manager is believed to have specifically demanded Cancelo's immediate return as he looks to strengthen his defensive options ahead of the new campaign.

Cancelo previously spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Barcelona from Manchester City, becoming an important part of the squad and contributing both defensively and offensively. His versatility, allowing him to operate on either flank, makes him an attractive option for Flick.
His return would also provide Barcelona with valuable experience and another attacking outlet from the full-back position.
With the agreement reportedly reached, the final formalities are now expected to pave the way for Cancelo to make his second spell at the club official.
