JJ Gabriel Impresses As Manchester United Thrash Ipswich 5-0
JJ Gabriel delivered a sensational performance as Manchester United’s Under-21s opened their Premier League 2 campaign with a commanding 5-0 victory over Ipswich Town.

The 15-year-old forward was at the heart of United’s attacking display, registering one goal and two assists on his competitive U21 debut.
Gabriel immediately showed his quality, combining brilliantly with Victor Musa to help United take the lead inside the opening two minutes.

Gabriel later produced a moment of individual brilliance, lifting the ball over the Ipswich goalkeeper with a composed lob to cap an outstanding night. His second assist came when he laid the ball off for Jaydan Kamason, who continued United’s dominance.
Jack Fletcher and Dan Armer were also on target as United raced into a four-goal advantage before half-time. Ipswich’s task became even harder after Leon Elliott was shown a red card, leaving the visitors with ten men.

The performance will have particularly pleased Michael Carrick, who watched from the stands. Gabriel has already been involved with United’s senior squad during pre-season, including an appearance against Atlético Madrid, and his rapid development continues to attract significant attention.
For Gabriel, this was another major statement in his remarkable rise. At just 15, he demonstrated composure, creativity and attacking instinct against players much closer to senior football.

United’s emphatic victory provided the perfect start to their U21 campaign and Gabriel ensured the biggest talking point was once again his extraordinary potential.
