Jack Grealish on Atlético Madrid Radar As Manchester City Exit Approaches
Atlético Madrid are reportedly considering a move for Manchester City winger Jack Grealish as Diego Simeone looks to strengthen his squad before the close of the summer transfer window.

The Spanish club are believed to have identified the England international as a player capable of adding creativity, experience and versatility to their attacking ranks.
Grealish’s future at Manchester City has been the subject of increasing speculation after he endured a frustrating campaign in which injuries and fierce competition for places limited his appearances be for his loan spell at Everton to finish last season.
Once a key figure in City’s historic Treble-winning season, the 30-year-old has found regular starts harder to come by, prompting reports that both player and club could be open to a fresh challenge.
Atlético view Grealish as a player whose technical quality and ability to retain possession would complement Simeone’s evolving style of play. While the Argentine coach has traditionally favoured a disciplined, defensively solid approach, recent seasons have seen Atlético place greater emphasis on attacking football, making Grealish an intriguing fit for the Madrid side.
Financially, however, any move is expected to be complicated. Grealish remains one of Manchester City’s highest earners, meaning Atlético may need to explore a loan deal or negotiate a transfer structure that eases the financial burden. The Premier League champions are not expected to let the winger leave cheaply, despite their willingness to consider suitable offers.
Atlético are also likely to face competition from several clubs across Europe and beyond, with clubs from the Saudi Pro League expressing strong interest, with Grealish continuing to attract interest because of his proven pedigree at both club and international level.
A move to La Liga could offer the former Aston Villa captain the opportunity to reignite his career and secure regular first-team football ahead of future international competitions.
Although negotiations remain at an early stage and no formal agreement has been reached, Atlético Madrid’s interest has added another fascinating twist to Grealish’s future. If the deal materialises, it could become one of the most eye-catching transfers of the summer window.
