Carlos Baleba Completes Dream Move to Manchester United in £70m Transfer

Carlos Baleba has completed a dream move to Manchester United from Brighton and Hove Albion in a deal that could rise up to £70 million .

The move ends Manchester United's long pursuit of one of the Premier League's brightest young midfielders. United first tried to sign Baleba last year, but Brighton's valuation was too high. This summer, the club returned with an improved offer and finally secured their target.

Baleba arrives after impressing during his time at Brighton, where he developed into a powerful box-to-box midfielder known for his ball-winning ability, athleticism and composure in possession. His performances also earned him a regular place in the Cameroon national team.

Speaking after the announcement, Baleba described joining Manchester United as a dream come true, saying playing at Old Trafford as a United player is a huge honour.

United's midfield has undergone a major rebuild this summer, with Baleba joining recent arrivals Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos as Michael Carrick reshapes the squad ahead of the new Premier League and Champions League campaign.

Although Baleba is currently recovering from a minor ankle injury suffered during pre-season, reports indicate he is expected to return to action around mid-September and could make his debut shortly after.
