Mohamed Salah Gets a Homely Turkish Welcome
Mohamed Salah received a special Turkish welcome as Trabzonspor took the Egyptian star to a local family home to experience traditional food and culture

Mohamed Salah has received a warm welcome from a Turkish family following his move to Trabzonspor.
The Turkish club shared a beautiful video showing the Egyptian star visiting the home of a local family in Trabzon and experiencing some of the city's traditional culture.
Salah was seen sitting with the family and enjoying a selection of traditional Turkish dishes during the visit.
It was a different kind of welcome for the former Liverpool star, away from the huge crowds that greeted him after arriving in Turkey.

Trabzonspor's decision to introduce Salah to a local family also gave fans a glimpse of the cultural side of his move to the Black Sea city.
The 34-year-old recently completed his move to Trabzonspor after leaving Liverpool following nine years at Anfield. He signed a two-year contract with the Turkish club and will wear the No.10 shirt.
Salah's arrival has created huge excitement in Trabzon. Thousands of supporters turned out to welcome him, with the Egyptian receiving a hero's reception after landing in Turkey. Reuters also documented the scenes surrounding his arrival.
But this family visit showed another side of his introduction to Turkish football.
There were no packed stands or massive crowds this time. Just Salah, a local family, traditional food and a taste of life in his new home.
The video is another reminder of how football can take players into completely new cultures and create connections far beyond the pitch.
