Nico O’Reilly RULED OUT of England’s Clash With Czech Republic After Injury Blow

Nico O’Reilly has been RULED OUT of England’s Nations League clash against the Czech Republic tonight due to injury.

The Manchester City defender will miss England’s second Group A3 fixture after failing to recover from a minor issue that also kept him out of Monday’s team training. O’Reilly followed an individual programme alongside Ezri Konsa, with both players initially considered doubts for the Prague trip.

O’Reilly played the full 90 minutes in England’s 3-2 defeat to Spain on Saturday and had established himself as Thomas Tuchel’s first-choice left-back. His absence now leaves Lewis Hall and Myles Lewis-Skelly as the main options to fill the position.

The 21-year-old did travel with the England squad to Prague, but he will not be included in the matchday squad against the Czech Republic.

England will be looking to respond immediately after their defeat to Spain when they face the Czech Republic at the Fortuna Arena, with kick-off scheduled for 7:45pm BST.
