Juventus Open Talks to Sign Franck Kessié As Serie A Return Looms
Juventus have opened talks over a potential move for Franck Kessié as the Italian giants explore the possibility of bringing the experienced midfielder back to Serie A.

Kessié, who previously established himself as one of the league’s most influential midfielders during his time with AC Milan, has emerged as an attractive option for Juventus as they look to strengthen their midfield ahead of the new campaign.
The Ivorian midfielder is understood to be open to the idea of returning to Italy, where he enjoyed the most consistent period of his European career.
His physical presence, ability to win possession and contribution in both defensive and attacking phases make him a profile Juventus believe could add balance and experience to their squad.
Juventus’ interest is also helped by Kessié’s existing relationship with sporting director Frederic Massara, who worked with the player during his time at Milan. That familiarity could prove important as negotiations continue.
However, there are still details to resolve before the deal can be completed. Juventus must manage their squad and wage structure, with potential departures expected to create the necessary room for Kessié.
The midfielder’s salary demands will also be an important factor. Reports suggest Kessié would be prepared to accept a deal worth around €4 million per season, although the final structure of the contract remains under discussion.
For Juventus, signing Kessié would represent an opportunity to add an experienced player without paying a conventional transfer fee. His knowledge of Italian football could also allow him to adapt quickly.
Talks are expected to continue in the coming days, with Juventus increasingly confident that a deal can be reached if the remaining financial and squad-related issues are resolved. A return to Serie A now appears to be a realistic possibility for Kessié.
