Endrick Has Played Just Four Minutes for Real Madrid

Endrick has played just four minutes for Real Madrid this season, leaving the Brazilian youngster facing another frustrating spell on the sidelines.

The 20-year-old has made only one appearance under José Mourinho in the 2026/27 campaign, with his four-minute cameo coming after returning from a muscular injury.

Endrick missed Real Madrid's opening four La Liga matches while recovering from the injury and working his way back to full fitness.

Mourinho had already warned that the striker would need to be managed carefully after returning to team training.

“He's not in condition to play more than five or 10 minutes,” Mourinho said earlier this month, highlighting the lack of match fitness following his injury.

The lack of opportunities is particularly notable because Endrick returned to Madrid after spending the second half of last season on loan at Lyon, where he impressed with his performances.

Real Madrid also resisted another loan move during the summer.

Mourinho made his position clear in August, saying he did not want to sell or loan the Brazilian because he considered him an important part of the squad.

However, Endrick's lack of playing time has already revived speculation about another temporary move.

Reports this week indicate that clubs including AC Milan and Roma could explore a January loan if his situation does not improve, while other reports have also linked Arsenal with an interest.

For now, Endrick remains a Real Madrid player and Mourinho has not indicated that he wants him to leave.

But with only four minutes of football so far this season, the Brazilian will be desperate for more opportunities in the coming months.
