Antoine Griezmann Still Has It in MLS

Antoine Griezmann is showing that he still has plenty left in the tank after making a sensational start to life with Orlando City.

The Frenchman has registered 11 goal contributions in his first 10 MLS appearances, scoring eight goals and providing three assists.

That return has immediately put him among Orlando's most influential attacking players since arriving from Atlético Madrid this summer.

Griezmann reached 10 goal contributions after just nine MLS appearances, becoming the fastest player in Orlando City history to reach that mark and surpassing former Lions star Nani.

His form has been particularly impressive in recent weeks.

The 35-year-old has scored in five consecutive MLS matches, including a brace in Orlando's 3-2 victory over Atlanta United. That run has helped Orlando climb into the Eastern Conference playoff picture.

Griezmann's arrival has also coincided with a significant improvement in Orlando's results. MLS noted that the club had conceded 2.87 goals per game before his arrival, compared with one goal per game across the 10 matches since he joined.

After years of producing at the highest level in Europe, Griezmann appears to have adapted quickly to his new surroundings.

The numbers are already making one thing clear: the Frenchman still has it.
