Raphinha Has More Goal Contributions Than 92 Clubs

Raphinha has produced a remarkable start to the 2026/27 season, with his goal contributions already matching or exceeding the number of goals scored by 92 of the 95 clubs in Europe's top five leagues.

The Barcelona forward has registered 15 direct goal involvements in La Liga this season, with 12 goals and three assists according to StatMuse's current data.

His latest performance came against Sevilla on September 19, when Raphinha scored a hat-trick to help Barcelona secure a 3-1 victory.

That took his league tally to 12 goals after just seven matches. Brazilian outlet UOL also reported the 12-goal figure following his hat-trick against Sevilla.

The comparison with Europe's leading leagues puts his start into perspective.

Only three clubs have scored more than 15 league goals so far this season: Real Madrid with 18, Atlético Madrid with 16 and Brighton with 16.

That means Raphinha's individual goal contributions are already greater than the entire league goal tally of almost every other club in Europe's five major domestic competitions.

His form has also helped Barcelona make a perfect start to their La Liga campaign. The Catalan club have won all seven of their matches, with Raphinha and Lamine Yamal providing much of the attacking output. Barcelona's official website says the pair have combined for 26 direct goal involvements in the league.

Raphinha's numbers are particularly striking because he has produced them in just seven league appearances.

If he maintains anything close to this scoring rate, the Brazilian could finish the season with some extraordinary numbers.

For now, though, the statistic already provides a remarkable picture of his start: one Barcelona player has personally contributed to as many goals as almost every other club in Europe's top five leagues has scored collectively.
